Why learn about this impactful campaign?

The campaign created change among a sector of the population sensitive to mental health issues in Mexico. In strategic partnership with Humanamente and Voz Pro Salud Mental Jalisco A.C., these organizations supported screenings with guided discussions. Almost immediately after the film’s festival premiere, the team decided to make it available — for free or at very low cost — to nonprofit organizations and mental health professionals, helping spread the message further. The deepest impact occurred at the level of empathy: viewers who attended screenings were visibly moved and actively sought more information. For Lili, the protagonist, the audience became a mirror of her own experience. People would approach her with tears, not of pity, but of connection, understanding, and solidarity. That level of emotional resonance is rare — and we were achieving it with each screening.
